The Broker - What It Is
Tab Trade opened in March 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, an New Zealand-regulated broker.
His background tells you something. It means the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not guarantee anything. Still more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.
The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres institutional desks use. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. These guys led with infrastructure. Unusual for a new broker.
Market coverage: FX, indices, metals, commodities, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker that launched in March 2026, that range is not narrow.
The Software
They offer: MT5, cTrader, and web trading. Both platforms from the same login. Most brokers only give you one or the other. Having both makes a difference. You are not locked into one.
MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Full charting, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you know MT4 or MT5 previously, it is familiar territory.
cTrader is the alternative. Better depth of market. More responsive charts. Native automated trading. A lot of traders prefer it after comparing.
FIX API is there for algo traders but is only on the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is apparently coming. That will be a good addition when it arrives.
Accounts and Pricing
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. Zero commission. Simple. Zero deposit requirement. Suits people who want simple pricing.
Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the actual interbank spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. So your all-in cost can sit under half a pip. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.
VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not for the average person. Skip it unless you move real size.
Infrastructure
The speed is the area where Tab Trade separates from most new launches. Equinix data centres. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. The average platform run hundreds of milliseconds.
Does this affect you? For short-term trading, absolutely. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. What matters is the infrastructure is there. That signals they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Put together those fill times with the Edge account pricing and the overall offering is strong. Hardly anyone in this bracket have infrastructure at this level.
Regulation
Now, the thing you need to be straight about. The broker is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If that is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. There are FCA-regulated options out there.
However. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The Equinix infrastructure costs real money. Scam brokers do not invest in proper execution infrastructure. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. But inform how you think about it.
The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: high leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether this deal works is your call.
Welcome Offer
