Tab Trade — What It Is
TabTrade.com went live in Q1 2026. Online broker based in Saint Lucia, regulated by the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, an well-known broker.
That last detail tells you something. It suggests the leadership knows how a proper broker operates. That is not a guarantee. It is more reassuring than a founder with no industry background.
TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres banks and hedge funds use. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.
Market coverage: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, stock CFDs, crypto, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For something that launched in March 2026, the breadth is not narrow.
What You Trade On
You get: MT5, cTrader, and web trading. Two major platforms from a single account. Many pick one platform. Getting both matters. You are not locked into one.
MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Full charting, EAs, tons of scripts and indicators. If you know MetaTrader before, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader is the cleaner option. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. Native automated trading. Many people find it more natural after using both.
FIX API is there for automated strategies but needs the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView is apparently coming. That should make the platform set when it arrives.
Costs
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Simple. No minimum deposit. Good for anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. So your actual cost per trade can sit under half a pip. That is good for an offshore broker. Most platforms that have spreads this tight ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. Tab Trade has no minimum.
VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, faster fills, custom pricing. Not something the average person. Do not worry about it unless you trade institutionally.
Infrastructure
This is the thing TabTrade stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. These are institutional numbers. Most retail brokers run a much wider range.
Does it matter? For short-term trading, it does. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, you will not notice. The point is they invested in proper execution. That signals something about priorities.
Pair those fill times with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering holds up. Hardly anyone in this bracket offer execution like this.
Regulation
This is the thing that requires honesty. The broker is under Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If that is a problem for you, stop reading. There are FCA-regulated options out there.
But. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The server placement costs real money. Scam brokers do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. It does inform your assessment.
The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off works is your call.
The Bonus
Tab Trade has a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Typical sign-up bonus. You put money in, they add bonus funds. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before you deposit.
