TabTrade - What Traders Should Know

Tab Trade — The Short Version

TabTrade went live in Q1 2026. CFD broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the well-known broker.

That last detail is relevant. It suggests the leadership has actually done this before. Does not guarantee anything. But more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.

The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres prime brokers run on. Most new brokers leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Not the typical playbook.

Market coverage: FX, indices, metals, commodities, equities, crypto, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker that launched in March 2026, the breadth is not narrow.

The Software

Available: MT5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from a single account. Many commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Getting both matters. Use whichever you prefer.

MetaTrader 5 is the default. Full charting, EAs, huge user base. If you know MT4 or MT5 previously, there are no surprises.

cTrader is the alternative. Better depth of market. More responsive charts. Native automated trading. Many people like it better than MT5 after using both.

FIX API is offered for algo traders but is only on the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is apparently coming. That will be a good addition when it arrives.

Accounts and Pricing

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. No commission. Easy to track. $0 to start. Good for people who want simple pricing.

Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the actual interbank spread is often a fraction of a pip. Meaning your real cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.

VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, custom pricing. Not something typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you trade institutionally.

Infrastructure

The speed is the thing TabTrade actually does something different. Equinix data centres. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are proper execution targets. The average platform quote 100ms to 300ms.

Does this affect you? For short-term trading, absolutely. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you swing trade, you will not notice. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That signals they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Pair those fill times with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and what you get is strong. Hardly anyone in this bracket have infrastructure at this level.

Safety

This is the detail that requires honesty. TabTrade is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No FCA. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

That said. Benjamin Boulter spent years at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is expensive. Dodgy operations do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. That does not make it safe. But be part of your decision.

The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: high leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether this deal works comes down to your priorities.

The Bonus

TabTrade has a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Usual deposit match. You put money in, TabTrade credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before you deposit.

Everything in one place, with regulation, here withdrawals, pricing, and the bonus tab trade review terms, is at Trade The Day.
